Moving

This is the room that has housed our family for the last year and a half. The room where we navigated our first month as missionaries and adjusted to everything new in our lives, by being sick that entire time. The room where my belly got bigger as our second child grew inside me and we had to get a new bed because I couldn’t crawl in the bunk bed where we slept anymore. The room where our firstborn learned to color inside the lines. Where we read Beauty and the Beast to many times to count. The room that we brought our two-month-old daughter back to and where we really bonded as a family of four. A room that has seen so much love, discipline, tears, and growth in our family over the past 15 months. The room that was our bit of space at Vida Nueva.
Everything changed today. Many of you know that our role at Vida Nueva is changing and with that change it is necessary that we move. Today we signed a renter’s agreement on a new house here in Parras. At this time next week, we’ll be sleeping in “our” new home!
