We just found out a couple of hours ago that our Commission to Every Nation (CTEN) applications have been accepted! We can now begin the processes with them, and will soon be able to start our fundraising. We are one HUGE step closer to being able to move to Vida Nueva!

Commission to Every Nation is an incredible ministry that exists purely to help missionaries get to the field. They explain their ministry in this way, “(CTEN) co-labors with the sending church and their missionaries to help strengthen their relationship and increase their effectiveness.” They do this by offering missionary care on the field. CTEN describes the missionary care like this, they are “someone who will help you with the transition and oversee your adjustment” they offer help with finances, simply by allowing us under their 501c3 umbrella so that any monetary donations to us will be tax deductible. We were so excited to meet Dick and Birdie Johnson over Skype chat on Saturday! We couldn’t be happier in the way that God has been leading us. Adam has remarked several times that if he had just gone down to Parras when he heard God’s call, he/we would have missed out on so many blessings that have come both with the waiting and the specific ministries that the Lord has laid out for us to work for, with, and alongside. His way truly is best!
